Explanation (?):

The remote administrator service is a third party installed service that is used in remote administration as the name suggests. This program is produced by Famatech and allows a remote user to control the computer with their keyboard and mouse as if they were local to the remote computer, as well as transfer files to and from the computer. This program also provides a telnet like connection that provides command prompt access to the remote user. If you have this service and you don't remember installing it then you will most likely wish to uninstall it. You can configure this service by running "r_server /setup" from the directory this program is installed. By default this service uses port 4899, but I would highly recommend changing the port it uses as this will increase your security. This service can safely be set to disabled, but then you will not be able to connect to this computer through this service. If you wish to use this service then you will need to leave it set to automatic.
